The following part of the article references a link that just points to a page selling gym supplements and has no relation to Vegemite or the 2/3% potassium.

Vegemite contains 2.3% potassium.[36] 203.29.87.144 (talk) 22:45, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for picking that up. I have removed the link. The claim is probably true, but still needs a source. HiLo48 (talk) 23:57, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Vegemite is banned in Victorian Prisons because sniffer dogs cannot detect the scent of drugs if concealed in Vegemite and has nothing to do with yeast content. Yeast is readily available to any inmate that works in a prison kitchen as the bread is baked on location by prisoners. 110.175.157.116 (talk) 07:27, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. As the article states, Vegemite is banned in Vic prisons because it can be used to ferment illicit alcohol. I can find no sources that confirm the drug concealment claim. WWGB (talk) 07:53, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Meaninglesss statement[edit]

One sentence of the article reads as follows: "Vegemite contains 3.45% sodium, which equates to a salt content of approximately 8.6% Daily Value." This could hardly be more idiotic. A daily value of a substance is a quantity of that substance. It is not relevant what the percentage of sodium in Vegemite is. It is relevant to the total amount (mass or weight) of sodium consumed in one day from Vegemite is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:200:c082:2ea0:a9c4:a9a:2ef3:73b0 (talkcontribs)
