Talk:List of municipalities of Estonia

As to now, the links are not correct. Most active links go to places not in Estonia. Besides, the names of municipalities coincide with names of villages and towns. Andres 11:25, 26 Nov 2003 (UTC)

I don't know if the links have been fixed, but this list appears to be in no order -- not alphabetized, not organized according to region, etc. Anyone here know enough about Estonia to understand the scheme, and should we change it? Jwrosenzweig 22:24, 22 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I arranged the names. They are listed according to counties according to the Estonian alphabet. I disambiguated Saku, Pala (by creating a stub) and Orava. There remain others to be disambiguated. I decided not to write separate articles about the municipalities but to merge them with the artickes about their centres. Andres 09:33, 23 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I think the municipalities should be named "Emmaste Municipality" etc. See [1]. This is the way vald is translated in Estonia. Commune is strange for Estonia. Andres 08:07, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
