Aggrotech redirect[edit]

"Aggrotech" should redirect to the section of the Electro-industrial page, where it's more relevant, rather than here. However, the earth is salted at Aggrotech, so I can't change the redirect. There must have been too many spurious resurrections. Can someone with the capacity help me with this alteration? I'd be most grateful. Aryder779 (talk) 21:39, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Martial industrial[edit]

We need sources for the term "martial industrial". Groups like Laibach and Test Dept. existed from the early period of industrial music, and I've not found evidence that they went by the name "martial industrial." Where did this term come from? Neofolk[edit]

We also need sources for the term neofolk. Right now, we have a really good source for "apocalyptic folk" as a designator for Current 93 and related, but nothing further than that. Aryder779 (talk) 22:18, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Page organization[edit]

Right now, the page is divided into a "post-industrial developments" section and a "related genres" section, but I don't understand the logic. The first half seems to be more noise oriented, whereas the second is more dance-music/rock oriented, but that's not made explicit. I suggest the page be reorganized to place all of the post-industrial genres in alphabetical order (chronological order doesn't really make sense, because all of them emerged in about the early '80s). Requested move[edit]

Why "... and related fusion genres"? It's all post-industrial music. Everything discussed on this page emerged in the early '80s just after the development of industrial music. I don't see any reason for such a long title. Aryder779 (talk) 01:46, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article is not an article.[edit]

Each end every type of music discussed here has it's own page, and therefore this article should not exist. This article should not exist, therefore this article should be deleted. Witch house[edit]

Im being kinda picky, but "Witch House is also influenced by hazy 1980s goth bands, including Cocteau Twins, The Cure and Dead Can Dance" "hazy?!" ok cocteaus sometimes at a stretch, but cure and dkd? cure have done everything from pop to goth and dkd are kinda world/folk/goth, neither are "hazy", that word implies bands like ride/ my bloody valentine/ curve etc which would be more apt for what witchouse is doing. I think that sentence should be scrapped. witchouse may be influenced by "hazy" music, it may be influenced by 80's goth but cure dkd and cocteaus ARENT both of those things, its misleading. 125.239.110.251 (talk) 00:24, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
