Karachi as capital of Sindh[edit]

Pakistan is a federal republic and within its federating units, Sindh houses Karachi as its capital and largest city. It is the standard way to write it being the capital of Sindh, first. Check different cities in federal republics such as New York City, Mumbai, San Francisco, etc. Knowledgepedian (talk) 13:49, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Seychellian I am reverting your version because it breaks the sentence flow. The previous lead mentioned it's former status as a federal capital along with its current status as a provincial capital all in one sentence, which looked way better. Also, see Lahore. The Ports of Karachi[edit]

Karachi has two of Pakistan's three deep sea ports for commercial shipping lines: Karachi Port and Port Qasim. Karachi Port is managed by Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and Port Qasim is managed by Port Qasim Authority.

Karachi Port handles over 90% of Pakistan's global trade through its container terminals, bulk and cargo terminals, and liquid bulk handling terminals. Bitsz (talk) 06:56, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
