older entries[edit]

Should artistic competition in the ancient games be mentioned here as well? There were musical and poetic competitions at the Pythian Games and the Panathenaic Games, but not at the Olympics, so I'm not sure if it is relevant...but surely Coubertin knew about the other non-Olympic game? The intro mentions:

Since 1956, the Olympic cultural programme has taken the place of the art competitions.

Do we have an article to link to here? - dcljr 12:49, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)

The short answer seems to be no! user:oxyman42

John Copley[edit]

In the "Competitors" section we mention John Copley, but the link goes to John Singleton Copley who was very dead in 1948. --Palnatoke 17:05, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

medal table[edit]

How about a combined medal table? Since the yearly articles have them also. 82.141.119.222 (talk) 18:14, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
