Polls[edit]

Okay, this is very suspect: where are the numbers (at the very least, the estimates) of the election results? Percentages are being thrown around without any numbers as to how those percentages were attained. What gives?

It would be interesting to find some poll in this article, and information about who is favourite. Is Bloomberg likely to be reelected ?

I have just added the most recent poll from Quinnipiac University. As the election draws near, should I continue adding polls - opinion polls, tracking polls and exit polls - on the main page or should I place the new polls on a separate page? --Blue387 17:53, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- I've decided to keep adding polls until the primary election on September 13; then, I plan to remove old poll numbers and shift to the general election numbers between Bloomberg and the Democratic nominee because the page will get crowded over the next few months with each new poll. Primaries[edit]

The last I heard, Ognibene was still pursuing a court challenge to get on the Republican ballot. Does anyone know if any of the 'minor' Democratic Party candidates had enough signatures to get on the ballot?--Pharos 02:13, 4 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

According to this document, Christopher X. Brodeur - who, according to the Village Voice, ran in 1997 with a bag over his head - and Arthur Piccolo are running as Democrats. This article shows that Brodeur will appear on the ballot, indicating that he somehow had the signatures. Meanwhile, Piccolo, according to this article has 8,000 signatures, more than the necessary 7,500 signatures to appear on the ballot on Septemer 13. --Blue387 23:31, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Polling data[edit]

Hello. I've been putting up polling data for this page (and others) for several months now and I must ask: should I use the poll numbers for "Likely voters" or "Registered voters"? What about "Likely Voters w/ Leaners" and other distinctions? (See here for an example [2]) From what I see, likely voters must be registered and registered voters can be likely voters though not all the time. Which do I use and what is the difference? Also, the election is now less than one month away. What else can we/I add to this page? Recommendations? --Blue387 06:16, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
