I reverted the comment about the Islamic faith because it sounded POV and it probably is not accurate (see my comments in Talk:Balkans#Religion in Albania regarding this). Dori | Talk 03:31, Dec 1, 2003 (UTC)

  1. Brandy - the Albanian brandy Skanderbeg is renowned in Europe

am I reading that wrong or did it get accoidentally pasted somewhere ?

Turkish influence[edit]

We should also mention the Turkish influence on some Albanian dishes sinse it was indeed influenced by ottoman rule.--Nadirali نادرالی

Missing information (possibly)[edit]

I recently went to Albania and ate a desert called "Trilece" or "Trileche" as waiter told me when I asked. Can it be listed if someone is more familiar with this? Also I cannot find recipe anywhere - it is pastry with coconut soaked with sweet milk and caramel topping, delicious.

Blacklisted link[edit]

I deleted the blacklisted link due to the template, is it ok to delete the template now? :S thanks

Health Effects[edit]

What is this sentence trying to communicate?

It is believed that because of this diet Albania has a very high life expectancy when its economic power is compared to other countries, characterized by some researchers as the "Albanian paradox".

What does its high life expectancy have to do with its economic power, and why is that worthy of comparison to other countries? It seems like it needs a rewrite. 174.4.18.174 (talk) 19:52, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
