iMac firmware[edit]

I pulled this recent addition:

The boot firmware for the original Bondi Blue iMac included the identifying text Macintosh NC, so it's clear that either the platform originally intended to be the Network Computer, or some Apple employees had an opinion on the matter.

Anyone have a source? AlistairMcMillan 18:31, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)

nationmaster[edit]

Internally, the iMac was a combination of the MacNC project and CHRP.[citation needed] Although the promise of CHRP has never been fully realized, the work that Apple had done on CHRP significantly helped in the designing of the iMac.

Nobody has been in this talk page for years have they?

I'm adding the information, by the way. 71.72.82.183 (talk) 07:15, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That article on nationmaster is a mirror of the Wikipedia iMac article. Wikipedia is not a valid source, even indirectly.
I've removing the information, by the way. AlistairMcMillan (talk) 20:51, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about this being 'Mac NC', and there's noting about it?[edit]

This whole page has - at most 3-4 lines about the Mac NC', the rest of this page is about Apple Corp. boardroom changes of the Amelio-Jobs eras.'And so it goes...' — Preceding unsigned comment added by UNOwenNYC (talkcontribs) 07:00, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
