Strongest[edit]

What do you mean "strongest"? The most powerful? -- Error 01:32, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Most hated[edit]

The "most hated" seems disputable. Would you say he was more hated than ETA leaders? -- Error 01:32, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

It is certain that there are a lot of nationalist Basques widely hated among the Spaniards, but Arzalluz wins that unfortunate competition with enough difference.
Besides, you are wrong in the part about he being the party ruler from the time of the Transition. He was not. Garaikoetxea was.Idiazabal 22:12, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

His position[edit]

Is "conservative" + "Christian-Democrat" a good description? Conservative with capital C seems not very compatible with Christian democrat. -- Error 01:46, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Public funding[edit]

Can you specify how books against Arzalluz were paid with public funding? -- Error 23:58, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

The editorial production has been so abumdant... but look at Papeles de Ermua i.e. And there are a group of lobbyist fundations that have public funding. Moreover, during Acebes, the ministery of interior had in is presentation web page, just in its main page, confussed and mixed, the Basta Ya presentation, as if it were directly the own ministery of interior. Perhapps the soberb and excess of pride made them forget the consequences.
In the case of Papeles de Ermua we could even say that with public funds they are spreading anti-basque xenofobia among the children schools in several Spanish Autonomous Communities. Also there the soberb should make them forget the more basic norms.Idiazabal 12:31, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I see that Papeles de Ermua received thousands of euros directly, but it claims se sostiene exclusivamente a través de las aportaciones económicas de sus simpatizantes. In the titles, I don't find articles clearly against Arzalluz (or "Arzallus"). Do they publish books? -- Error 00:25, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
They can claim as they wish, but it is known and public that they signed agreements i.e. with the Valencian government to distribute their Papeles in Valencian schools, which besides public funding is a strategy for spreading anti-basque xenofobia among Valencian children. Perhapps you, as someone so preocuppied with the racist behavior, should go to their Wikipedia article to note it there.
And about what they state not only against Arzalluz but against all Basques "no-españolistas" goes beyond clear xenofobia. And of course you have to know it all perfectly.Idiazabal 00:57, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
But this article is specifically about Arzalluz. I thought that you were pointing to books like that of "El árbol y las nueces", which, from what I heard, accuse Arzalluz. If you can't provide information about books against Arzalluz published with public funds, the current text has to change. -- Error 01:57, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I've provided yet, and without making any study on it. The Papeles de Ermua are paid with public funds and distributed among Spanish children, and there Arzalluz, along with other people, is lampooned as a daily basis. Look the editorial production of Basta Ya, Foro de Ermua, Fundación por la libertad, etc. and there you'll find enoungh material to cover all your old accusations of Basque racism based in all material from the XIX. If you don't like it, criticize those public funded so-called "civic" organizations, not me that only note it.
Ha ha ha... you liked to go to any page related to Basque or Basques to let some little tears of "decorative" racism charges and now you don't want to accept the crude reality of Spanish anti-basque xenofobia?Idiazabal 10:10, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Look what I've found:

Arzalluz's strong anti-Jewish notions should be mentioned[edit]
