The ANP (see link below) lists its address as being in Westland. If the party was founded or operates from there, that information may be noteworthy enough to place in the article.

The ANP wikipedia article lists Eastpointe, Michigan as the headquarters of the ANP. Segelflugzeugwettbewerber 03:03, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed this line from the first paragraph... Some progress has been made in lowering the gang activity, but with the poverty level being so low in this section of the city, the crime rates are naturally high.

It is incoherent, unsourced, and makes a dubious and ideologically motivated assertion that poverty is the causative factor behind crime. While this correlation is understood to be causative by many, several mainstream statistical surveys have cast doubt on this assertion. Anecdotally, West Virginia has the nation's highest poverty rates and lowest crime rates.

Who wrote this rubbish? I live in Westland. We aren't faring that well in the recession. Norwayne was built during WWII for factory workers coming from the south to work at the bomber plant at Willow Run and elsewhere, not after for returning veterans. Norwayne is not on the up by any stretch of the imagination, nor is Westland in general. It is a working class community with a few pricier subdivisions and a few poor neighborhoods, but most live in small ranch homes (many without basements) and this article implies that Westland has more of a middle-class than it has. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mp2dtw (talkcontribs) 03:09, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I added a source for the mayor's office, standard stuff. We have to get this page cleaned up. This is me Infoman.48 13:01, 15 May 2011 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Infoman.48 (talkcontribs)
