List of famous people[edit]

This list should really just be people with their own article, or at least a short summary should be provided. Without checking every one, any of these additions could be vanity, vandalism, etc. Greenman (talk) 14:34, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Moved to Venda people. Greenman (talk) 14:41, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Springbok?[edit]

Venda is divided into small areas, such as Mukhase, where pure water can be found running off the mountain. The area contains wild animals such as elephants, lions, and springbok. In northern Limpopo?, subtropical climate!!, nowhere near the dessert?Flagman (talk) 06:22, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your concern being...? Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 06:24, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I seem to recall this coming up elsewhere, though I can't find where now. There seems to be doubt as to whether springbok occur here, as it's apparently not their normal habitat. It's possible someone mistook, say, impala, for springbok. There are apparently no Springbok in the Kruger National Park, for example. Greenman (talk) 12:09, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok, I get it now. Well... let's give it a {{cn}} then Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 17:05, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I lived in the rural north of Venda for many years and had friends who lived in other areas of the Venda region and can say for fact that the only elephants, lions and antelope in Venda are in game reserves, including the nearby Kruger Park. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.109.63.190 (talk) 23:55, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Small areas?[edit]

The article now makes no mention of lions and tigers springbok, but reads "Venda is divided into small areas, such as Mukhase, where pure water can be found running off the mountain." What does this mean? What are these small areas? Political divisions? Geographical divides? Caves? And why is Mukhase the most prominent. This sentence should have some context, or be removed, it's not helpful as it stands now. Greenman (talk) 22:32, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
