OGG Files[edit]

I'm not entirely fond of these exposed messy OGG file system links.. and they're linking to nowhere as of right now, so I'm going to delete them. However, if they really should be there and if they're useful to any other computer users, then that's fine.

I hope this won't cause too much trouble, otherwise, they wouldn't be so easy to fix..

Added a Personnel section[edit]

A wikipedia album article should say who's playing and singing on it, when possible.

I've left rhythm guitarist David Marks with no vocal credit; his vocals are more likely on the first record than this one, according to pg. 48-49 of the 2007 David Marks bio by Jon Stebbins and Marks, 'The Lost Beach Boy'. Jusdafax (talk) 09:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I like how 69.123.45.129 comes in and gives David Marks a vocal credit, when Marks' biographer no less, as I noted above, says it is not likely at all that he sings on this album. Come on, I took the trouble to note the source, which is creditable, and you come in and with no source cited, change my painstaking work on the personnel section. I'll give you a week or so to justify yourself, then I'll change it back if you have no answer.

After much thought, I'm rating this of 'top' importance. The amount of sales (#2, Billboard) make it a worthy candidate, as well as the fact that this sales breakthrough helped launch the Beach Boys' subsequent careers as international artists. I've also graded it at the 'Start' rating. My only contribution thus far to this article was the "Personnel section" as noted above, so I feel free to grade it.

One could make a case for a 'C' grade instead, but the article is short and needs a fair amount of additional work in my view. Jusdafax (talk) 21:02, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
