The *monkey* is the mascot. Jim is the lead fan or cheerleader.

What happened to Alejandro Salazar after he left Sydney FC? --Executive.koala 02:19, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New Kit for 2007[edit]

The kit has changed significantly thanks to Nike's new 'gold' uniforms. Someone will need to draw them up. RossO 23:00, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wilkinson is NOT your chairman. Jack Cain, as interim President, is closer to a chairman in the world football sense than Wilkinson.

Fair use rationale for Image:PortlandTimbers.GIF[edit]

Image:PortlandTimbers.GIF is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

MLS Expansion[edit]

I think someone should add a section on this page stating that Portland is a possible candidate for an MLS team and what they have stated they will do fo one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NightShadow7 (talkcontribs) 00:51, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

They've got a new logo, someone should update the picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.80.40.237 (talk) 08:23, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The new logo is for the MLS team not the USL team. It has been updated on that team's page. DemonJuice (talk) 18:42, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removing players from Final Squad[edit]

I'm at my 3RR limit with the anon IP who keeps removing players from the Final Squad list. It is a final list and all of those players were on the final squad. Doesn't matter that is was announced they wouldn't be signing with the MLS squad. Can somebody else help me out here if he does it again? DemonJuice (talk) 22:20, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm on it. --JonBroxton (talk) 22:55, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
