In several scenes during the movie, Manene is seen mimicing the actions of other humans around it, thus proving that it really is the pre-evolution to Mr. Mime.

Soundproof?[edit]

How can we be sure that Manene has soundproof as its ability if Diamond and Pearl havent been released yet? I can see this as partial speculation (since Manene evolves into Mr. Mime), but not confermation. It should at least say predicted, speculation, or somthing. I deleted that, as it is pure speculation, seeing as several Pokemon change abilities when they evolve, such as Poochyena and Mightyena. On another note, how do we know it's a Psychic type? 69.138.229.246 16:03, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Coro Coro confirms it's a Psychic type. When you deleted that sentence, all you really had to do was state that the Soundproof ability was an ability predition as everything else in that sentence was known about it.
