Many articles in this category need to be assigned to subcategories. -- Beland 04:10, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I've been tidying some of the categories. Mainly concentrated on the Natural Disasters and tidying that up, though inconveniently the category is called Natural Hazards, which is not quite right. Grouping the Natural Hazards and Natural Disasters together feels right though. Spent some time creating a new Wildfires category using the listings in Historic Fires. These categories called "Historic 'X'" are annoying though. Like "Historic Floods". Who's bright idea was that! A better name for the category is just "Floods". Category:Potential Disasters?[edit]

There are many things both man-made and natural that could lead to disaster or are posing a threat of disasters. I suggest that a category like this should be created.Shannon1talk contribs 01:05, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
