Bialowieza Forest[edit]

How can the Bialowieza Forest be a euroregion when Belarus isn't even a member of the Council of Europe? I don't see it on their list, either. --Joy [shallot] 10:06, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Does an euroregion really need to be approved by the Council of Europe? The Bialowezia Forest Euroregion apparently exists (see http://www.euroregion-puszczabialowieska.prv.pl), the treaty has been signed by Polish and Belarus representatives... and it was active this year - something to do with the official Forest flag (as found by google). Euroregions can be found in countries that are not members of the Council of Europe (CoE). The CoE's 'Madrid Convention'(1980) provides a template for organising cross-border co-operation that in theory could be used anywhere by local and regional authorities. Euroregions strongly differ in their set-up and objectives and there is not legal obligation to comply with any specific model.

Euroregion always capitalized[edit]

The term "Euroregion" appears to always be capitalized in official use. This article should probably be renamed accordingly to be "List of Euroregions" and the term "Euroregion" should be capitalized throughout. CiudadanoGlobal (talk) 23:44, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Potential future regions[edit]

OMG, there may be an eventual "Island of Ireland" region consisting of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with a population of 6 million.

Galicia-Norte Euroregion[edit]

Galicia is not a country, Spain is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.5.230.11 (talk) 16:30, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Scheldemond euroregion[edit]

France is not a part of the Scheldemond Euroregion, it simply doesn't even border to its area and according to the official site, it's just Zeeland (NL), West Flanders (BE) and East Flanders (BE).

I vote to change. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ckbtorg (talkcontribs) 15:19, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign names[edit]

I don't see the foreign names as necessary in the table. What do you think?--Zoupan 01:21, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
