Untitled[edit]

Somebody has mentioned that Asanga is also known as Arya-asanga. This is perhaps not essential as "arya" is a title of respect given to many great Buddhist scholar-monks.--Stephen Hodge 02:16, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Factual Accuracy[edit]

This sections needs clarifying because it is misleading and inaccurate as it stands. The Tibetan tradition attributes the verses, the Ratna-gotra-vibhaga proper to Maitreya -- that's why it's included in the well-known "5 Dharmas of Maitreya". Asanga is creditd with authorship of the Vyakhya. There is also a Sanskrit fragment in Saka script recently discovered which also attributes the verses to Maitreya. Changes will need to be made in due to reflect this. -- अनाम गुमनाम 02:02, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So civil. Does this miserable worm dare assume he has your esteemed and magnanimous permission to change your jewel-like lines of erudition ? -- अनाम गुमनाम 02:42, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
