Copyedit needed: It's a run-on and I can't get tails or heads out of it at all.

What does it mean? RickK 19:55, 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Sorry, what do you mean? The article clearly informs about two things: that the president-gone-dictator of Turkmenistan has issued himself the title of 'Turkmenbashi', and that (probably in honour of this president) there is a city called 'Turkmenbashi', also. -- till we *) 20:11, Aug 2, 2003 (UTC)

When I initially wrote the comment, no one had said what the word meant. That has since been corrected. RickK 20:13, 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Redirect or Disambiguation?[edit]

This article, as I found it, consisted of what seemed to be a poorly done dab page followed by a lengthy quote from a humor book. I tried to improve the former and, of course, removed the latter, but now I pose the question: Should this page, instead, simply redirect to Saparmurat Niyazov, which I think is certainly the most common usage, and then from Niyazov's page, create a link to a new Türkmenbaşy (disambiguation) page to list the other alternative uses? (Or, perhaps, we could put the dab directly on the Niyazov article, such as "For the city, see...")
