Of Moles and Purpose[edit]

I'd avoid saying that eyes (or any other organ) have evolved for the purpose of anything, as this implies that evolution is goal-driven. Also, I'm not sure what is meant by may evolve (in the case of moles). First, moles do have eyes, although they are reduced. Second, a lot of burrowing or cave-dwelling animals have reduced eyes or lack them altogether, so why single out moles? Tjunier 15:44, 27 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Foreign language links[edit]

The foreign language links on this page need some work. I believe (it's been a while since I've done German) but Auge is the German for eye, however the Italian and French pages 'Auge' refer to places with Auge in the title. Both of those pages do not link back to eye (disambiguation) but to Auge (disambiguation) so we've got mismatched links.
