And an extra thanks for all the stooges who obviously derive pleasure from driving away (not very sucessfully, but nevertheless) an editor who has been here since 2000 and has a few thousand edits on his back. It seems as soon as one person with a personal dislike goes on a vendetta, she is sure to find willing helpers.

As for me, I will do what I have done for years, trying to make the Wikipedia even better. Which is not exactly what can be said for some other people. I'll be back as soon as they get bored - which probably won't be long. -- AlexR 07:18, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Amelia Peabody[edit]

Hey, thanks for working on the series! (I'm the one who created the succession box.) When you stub tag one of the Peabody books, would you please use {{mystery-novel-stub}}? Saves sorting later on...thanks again, and have fun. Cheers, Her Pegship 16:42, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
