Dennis: thank you for your contribution. One of the first things you will learn here is that Wikipedia is not meant as a forum for presenting personal views. Wikipedia is intended to take a neutral tone. I have revised your contribution accordingly before someone else removes it completely. I think that this revision reach a happy compromise between Wikipedia's policy of neutrality and representing your party's platform. Can you tell us anything about your party'urrent activity? do you have riding associations? Are you planning to nominate candidates in the next provincial election? I disagree that the Western Independence Party entry should be merged with either the Western Canada Party or the Western Canada Independence Party. They are not the same things. They don't have a common genesis. The people are different and they are from different times, the Western Independence Party founding in 1988, 25 years before the Western Canada Party. Moreover, the Western Canada Independence Party and the Western Canada Party are actually the same thing. The former was the original name of the latter but the word "independence" was refused by the registrar of Official parties so it was truncated to Western Canada Party. The Western Independence Party still exists, technically and while it isn't active, it could become so and there is nothing the WCP could do about it considering that the WCP is not the WIP. - Alan Clark
