Burial[edit]

On findagrave.com it states Heron was cremated and his ashes given to a family relative or friend. Can anyone confirm he is bored at the said cemetery by taking a photo and uploading it? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:f00a:bc00:28ed:feb:eb9:c382 (talk) 22:37, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Gil Scott Heron on Salsoul records[edit]

Problem is no mention of gsh and the classic rap tune, "The Bottle." Why? Unacceptable gap hiatus. Gil re-recorded the song as disco with Salsoul in 1978. Have a copy. Salsoul is never mentioned either in any bio. Why? The tune was also a 1974 hit in Canada. Huh? What is wrong with wiki and this incomplete aspect of the bio? Please check and correct. The song was social activism and alcoholism in the black community. Significant omission, imo. Very sorry. Needs attention. Categories include being an alum of this school, but it's not verifiable per current article. Is there a source so we can mention in body? BobFromBrockley (talk) 10:33, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
