Discogs summary[edit]

Chart of progressive house releases per year

To support my recent edits I am adding this graph to the talk page to prove its not original research. - Shiftchange (talk) 01:49, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Syncopation[edit]

The syncopation article mentions the technique is used in progressive house. It would be good if this was covered here. - Shiftchange (talk) 21:54, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of 2010s coverage[edit]

(Festival-)Progressive House is quite a staple of early 2010s music. This article is quite lacking on that front in the history section.  Nixinova T  C   08:59, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology citation[edit]

There's no real need for the 'citation needed' after the statement of fact that, broadly speaking, the term 'progressive' has been applied to distinguish exploratory or more self-consciously 'artful' forms of music (house, disco in this case) from the mainstream. The verification of this is to be found through cultural immersion; it seems most unlikely that any single source can be satisfactorily cited for verification of this. Move to remove this somewhat redundant tag. 2A00:23C7:3119:AD01:F829:88FE:A35F:9B9A (talk) 23:45, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
