I know of a few to add, but didn't want to do so without community disussion. The one downside I see is that such stations are usually transient and unrealiable, and have limited range -- the converse side is that they offer a perspective not found on commercial radio, and are hard for people to find -- this is a worthwhile place to inform people. Or is it? EggplantWizard 21:26, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

  • If it was still on the air I'd probably have added Allston-Brighton Free Radio by now, but it's really a judgement call when it gets down to LP, pirate, and Part 15 radio stations. Those that have some standing might pass muster, but as far as tracking the transients go I think WikiSource or WikiCities might be the place for such a list. Another point worth considering is that if you're specifically listing pirate stations, it may be doing them a disservice to make their existence public record. Clandestine operations are not big on disclosure. Haikupoet 02:25, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By Callsign, not Frequency[edit]

Seems to me it's more useful to be able to look up by callsign. If whoever wanted a list by frequency wants to create one, fine, but please do a separate list by frequency and don't mess this one up. Haikupoet 01:39, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good to me. Their didn't seam to be any order to it before. I think why i did it by frequency was because that's how you'd find them on the dial. --Zach 02:13, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • It may have gotten messed up at some point. It was supposed to be alphabetical by callsign, so someone must have screwed it up to get into the condition you found it. Haikupoet 02:21, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Listing by frequency[edit]

I wanted to go about creating a listing by frequency and was woundering how I should name it. Also, should the title of this page be changed to reflect the fact that this list is sorted by callsign? Should the template be changed? Zach 13:55, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
