Bo-tox?[edit]

The following text was in the article.

He appears to have received Botulinum toxin treatments, and has become the target of several comedians and fashion critics due to this alleged cosmetic alteration.

Since it is unsourced, I removed it under WP:BLP. Does anybody have a source to back this claim up? —C.Fred (talk) 02:06, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New picture?[edit]

I don't know much about Wikipedia's guidelines, as I never edit anything, but the picture on this article just bothers me. Why is the main picture of Kenny Loggins, a star from the 70's and 80's, a picture of him in 2008 that doesn't even resemble what he looked like back when he was famous? When I first looked at this page and saw this picture, I was sure that it was a mistake, and that it was actually a picture of someone else. Can we please put up a picture of him from when he was in his prime? You don't see Michael Jackson's page having a picture from 2008; it's a picture of him when he was in his prime. I just think that it's the Kenny Loggins of the 70's and 80's that made him famous enough to warrant a Wikipedia entry, so it should be a picture of him from the 70's or 80's that graces that page. Just something to think about. -Danny —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.184.53.49 (talk) 03:26, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We're using that picture because it's the best free picture available. The picture of Michael Jackson was taken by White House staff at the White House, which makes it public domain and free for us to use. As a rule, commercial pictures are under copyright and aren't free, so we can't use any promotional photos of Loggins. Basically, to use a picture from the 70s or 80s, it would either have to be taken by the US government or by a private photographer who released the image into the public domain or under Creative Commons-type license.
Hrm. Loggins did some of the soundtrack for Top Gun. Did he do any publicity work with the Navy? —C.Fred (talk) 03:45, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Relation[edit]

Kenny Loggins page says that he is the cousin to Dave Loggins, Dave Loggins page says he is not related to Kenny. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.199.206.2 (talk) 11:50, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Randy Jackson[edit]

"In 1997, Loggins released the album "The Unimaginable Life" based on his book which was co-written by Loggins's wife Julia. ... The album was produced by Loggins and Randy Jackson, and with background vocals by Skyler Jett, Lamont VanHook, and Howard Smith."

  • Is this the Randy Jackson of American Idol Fame? Or the Jackson 5? If it is either of these It would be good to add the link. WesUGAdawg (talk) 02:02, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This is Randy Jackson of American Idol fame. Jackson is credited on the album and the two men are friends. Myssa22 (talk) 05:22, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Source[edit]

We need a link for the source of the additional remarks, namely that Kenny Loggins can read minds and would not beat the baby Jesus.

In Popular Culture[edit]

Do we want an "in popular culture" section? With, like, the Hyperbole and a Half comic and that Psych episode? Brauden (talk) 19:06, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How about some archer danger zone?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.229.87.140 (talk) 05:01, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Loggins just had a guest appearance on Archer March 3, 2014 as "K-Log" and sang/recorded a duet of "Danger Zone" with Cherlene. There is a CD available. He is also a guest star on the series finale of TV show "Raising Hope," airing April 4, 2014. Myssa22 (talk) 05:24, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the last two comments about Archer, the citation is now in "Other Media" as of 6/21/17. I would like to know why some TV and Movie appearances are in "Recent Years", however, while the Archer episode gets relegated to "Other Media"?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.68.216.127 (talk) 18:29, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Profession of the Second Wife[edit]

Is it necessary to be specific, rather than just saying that she was a health care worker. Since this specialty is very rare and unique it distracts from the topic of the article with questions like "What does a colon therapist do?" or "If they made a movie titled 'Impulsive Colon Therapist in a Midlife Crisis' what would it be about?"Autolanding (talk) 08:50, 10 March 2013 (UTC)Autolanding (talk) 08:47, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this is not a serious suggestion! Colon therapy can be covered on its own, and is certainly not a 'rare profession.' That someone was married and now divorced from one is hardly a necessary fact about the singer-songwriter to include on the article! Myssa22 (talk) 05:27, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Messina Quote[edit]

I think that is a little too excessive for Wikipedia, does anyone object if I summarize and paraphrase? Doesn't seem to follow the guidelines WP:QUOTE --Monstermike99 (talk) 01:51, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is a death date listed![edit]

When I searched for Kenny Logging wiki, A death date in 1997 is listed! This needs to be fixed. Thank you. 98.178.185.188 (talk) 08:39, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That vandalism was fixed a few days ago, sometimes google can be weird in what edits to articles it does and doesn't choose to display, but that's nothing we can control. ‑‑Volteer1 (talk) 09:02, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Isabella's DOB[edit]

This page says she was born in 1988, but (when "googled") other sources say 1987 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C2:4E00:2100:F8D0:D9BB:7F20:36FF (talk) 16:43, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
