Obsession[edit]

Marik is obsessed with the 3 God Cards and Millenium Items. Will he ever stop bragging?

Actually,yes he does stop bragging in the Dawn of the Duel saga (the last one),cause he's not evil and obsessed with them.He actually is one of Yugi's friends in the end of the series.

Marik's age[edit]

I thought that Marik was 16.

- I did too. He recieved his scars when he was 10 (in the Japanese version anyway) and he left the tomb for the first time when he was 11. During Isis's story of the Ishtar tragedy, she said, "It was five years ago when the sun touched Malik's body for the first time." 11+5 = 16. If you must, his age at the series end was 17 at the most.

Johnathon Todd Ross as Yami Marik[edit]

Has anybody noticed that the first time Yami Marik appears in the dub, Johnathon Todd Ross plays his voice as a darker version of regular Marik's? The afterward, he just speaks as regular Marik and the guys at 4Kids lower the pitch of his voice digitally. Open GoldWave and Episode 90 and see for yourself (Set Play speed to 1.20 and you get regular Marik's voice, likewise, use regular Marik's voice and set Play speed to 0.80 and you get Yami Marik's voice). This is also evident in one of the Noah arc episodes. They forgot to lower Marik's voice pitch so Yami Marik sounded like regular Marik. Ggctuk 09:53, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

shadow realm[edit]

Why was the first image of Malik changed? It used to be an image from the second series anime. Now it's a fanart image by a (Japanese?) fan-artist. It's shouldn't be there, as it is not from the original anime or manga. Also it is not accurate, as it is an iterpritation of a anime charcter, not the original from the anime or manga. It should be removed and replaced with an actual screenshot.

Image Change[edit]

Why was the first imagine of Malik changed? It used to be a picture from the second series anime. Now it is an imagine by a (Japanese) fan artist. Also, it should not be there, as it inaccurate and an iterpritation of the orginal character, giving it many faults. It should be removed and replaced with a screenshot from the anime, or at least the manga.
