Categorising constellation articles[edit]

There is some inconsistency in the way constellation articles are categorised. Most (all?) of the current constellations have their own category, itself categorised here. Many, but not all, of them are also directly categorised here, the parent category of the individual constellation category. This isn't generally done, but can be in particular cases. Either way, it seems like it should be consistent. I'll happily edit them all, but which way should it be? Lithopsian (talk) 13:27, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Asking here because I suspect nobody is watching at Category Talk:Wikipedia categories named after constellations. This category is clearly incomplete and hence effectively useless. There is a subcategory for every one of the 88 modern constellations, plus some. Is Category:Wikipedia categories named after constellations of any use? Should it be fully populated? Should it only contain exactly eponymous categories? Lithopsian (talk) 14:05, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
