Is All Souls Day really a public holiday in Belgium? [1] and [2] seem to say the opposite. On the contrary, should November 15 be added for civil servants (as far as I understand)? --Edcolins 17:00, Jul 6, 2004 (UTC)

I thought that schools, banks and shops are closed on November 2nd, but now you have blurried my memories and am no longer sure about the shops. I couldn't find any good lists of shops' closing dates on the net, so now I'm not sure. We should however add November 15th as governmental services shut down for a day (not banks and shops, so it's a different kind of holiday). I remember my last year's visit to the city hall that was closed ... --Anthony Liekens 21:55, 6 Jul 2004 (UTC)

According to this site, 2 November and 15 November (nationally) are holidays for civil servants only. They are not classed as public holidays by Belgian Railways. -- Picapica 15:52, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

unreferenced - needs cites[edit]

I tagged the article as needing references in order that the data can be verified. I have just found that 2008 February 4th is a Belgian school holiday that some Belgian banks (at least Fortis is refusing transactions on that date) are also observing.
