It has been suggested that Ectopic Shapeshifting Penance-propulsion be merged into this article. I was not the one who made the nomination, but the person who did incorrectly linked from the article into this talk page. Personally, I say Merge, as the information provided about ESP is pertinent, but not warranting of its own article. I highly doubt that anyone would actually search for "Ecotopic Shapeshifting Penance-propulsion" without actually going to the De-loused article anyway. --Thorne N. • I agree. Merge--Hraefen Talk 15:13, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge-- but then again I was the guy who suggested the merger. Zopwx2 19:01, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge This page is apparently a stub anyway, why not? It'd fit in better with the De-Loused In The Comatorium page.

The result of this AfD was to merge the above article in to this album article.  (aeropagitica)   (talk)  16:18, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tempo changes[edit]

"... Latin rhythms, odd time signatures, frequent tempo changes..."

There is not one tempo change on the whole album. Time signature changes, yes, but no fluctuation of tempo within any of the tracks. I have deleted this false point. Mreoin 22:02, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Odd time signatures[edit]

The article claims that the album is known for its "odd time signatures". This would perhaps fit with later Volta releases, but De-Loused is entirely in 3/4, 6/8 and 4/4 except for one really strange, effects-saturated guitar riff during the middle of "Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt". Ergo, I don't think this description is apt for this album, and should be removed. I will do so if there are no objections. Razorhead (talk) Razorhead 12:54 28 November 2009

Ward's death[edit]

Re-added the semi-footnote about Ward's death and its connection to the album story. (Sorry, forgot to log in, so it's under an IP.) Not sure for what reason it was removed, but I feel that it's an important connection to the album. If the wording or something needs to be changed, that's fine. (I tried out a different starter this time.) Just be sure to put in a reason on the edit or talk about it here if you're going to do something like that. But the album isn't based on Ward's death, was it? It was another person. --Mccartneyac (talk) 17:40, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
