Greetings!

My name is Ryan Tucker (no known relation to Ryan Tucker). I am located in Rochester, New York. I used to say I was rather new here, but now I'm not quite as new here, but I'm still pretty green.

Feel free to send me a message here. Please do -- I'm bored.

My recent projects:

  • Expanding my watchlist a bit to keep an eye on more pages.
    • I tend to monitor for unsubstantiated unusual claims, dodgy link additions, and your run-of-the-mill vandalism. Once in awhile I will clear out the External Links section on articles. If I do that and you've got a problem with it, feel free to re-add the good ones -- my goal is to get rid of accumulations of drive-by spam. The fact that a real person cares about the links is good enough for me :-)
  • The uncat task force.
    • Sometimes, I get the impression I'm the first human to look at most of these pages since they were created. Nothing wrong with that, but it lends itself to a lot of {{prod}} and a little bit of WP:AFD action. I use AutoWikiBrowser for this project, which does a good job of dating my {{unreferenced}} tags and thus saves SmackBot a couple cycles :-)

My to-do list:

My recurring things-to-do-once-in-awhile list:

Wikipedians I enjoy:

Cool stuff:

  • Are you colorblind? Spending too much time staring at diffs trying to figure out what the hell changed? Stick this in your monobook.css...
.diffchange {
    font-weight: bold;
    background-color: #00ff00;
}
This asphalt-related roadway is a stub. You can help Rochester by filling it.

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the toilet seat. Your test worked, and it has been reverted to the lowered position. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our bathroom. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Please refrain from making test edits with bathroom equipment, even if your ultimate intention is to reset them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Please stop leaving the toilet seat up. It is considered vandalism, which under household policy, can lead to blocking of bathroom privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox.

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize the toilet seat, you will be blocked from using the toilet.
