Recent Flight[edit]

I just changed the date of the first recent flight of this plane. It was November 11, 2004. That may have been the first official flight, but I saw it fly on April 19, 2003. See Image:N9MB-in-flight.JPG and its metadata. —BenFrantzDale

Contradiction - crew number[edit]

"Crew: one, pilot"

Crew Member Contradiction[edit]

I believe I have cleared up the contradiction. The first three N-9m's had only one crew member (pilot). The last one (N-9MB) had an extra observers seat - HellFire

Horten Bros.[edit]

My recollection is that Jack's work toard a flying wing is separate and predates the Horten Bros. If there isn't a reference, the Horten Bros. should be removed. 32.170.118.181 (talk) 18:49, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Engine Fire[edit]

I was at Planes of fame and visited the N9M. It was still in restoration. One of the problems was getting spare parts for the Franklin engine that was damaged in the fire. Similar Franklins were found and obtained and work is proceeding to make N9M fly again. 32.170.118.181 (talk) 18:49, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rose Bowl[edit]

The N9M flew over the Rose Bowl before the Tournament of roses game to celebrate the 100th year of flying. 32.170.118.181 (talk) 18:49, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
