Dunno how to use Wikipedia but "The festivities were transmitted to the public via radio in the ****first international coast-to-coast broadcast****.[citation needed]" is clearly wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.131.80.96 (talk) 20:18, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

image?[edit]

Can't someone get a picture of this thing. --T-rex 15:27, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the first sentence to read "source", not "mouth". A river's mouth is where it empties into another body of water downstream. [kcdc123] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kcdc123 (talkcontribs) 14:09, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Buffalo port of entry text[edit]

One of the middle paragraphs has "Buffalo became the chief port of entry to Canada from the United States." Isn't that the wrong way around? Should it not be either or both of "Fort Erie became the chief port of entry to Canada from the United States" or "Buffalo became the chief port of entry to the United States from Canada"? --papageno (talk) 03:36, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done Changed the text to something less ambiguous. --papageno (talk) 22:20, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

Two suggestions regarding the history section. 1) include a construction picture. There are good pictures on the web - it would be wonderful if we could figure out licensing and include one. 2) The piers are clearly not original, comparing old and newer photos. Replacing the piers must have been a massive job. It would be great to have this addressed in the history section. 144.71.77.244 (talk) 13:30, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
