Hmm...

"smurfing" is used as a urban term when referring to the act of hitting someone across the face with one's penis.

(Doradus) Is it a good idea to list this in an article likely to be viewed by children? I know I wasn't expecting to see this particular definition. Is it really widespread and important enough to list here?

It's in urbandictionary.com, but lots of obscure and even personally-idiosyncratic stuff is in there too. I took it out as I'm not under the impression it's in widespread use, and if anything it should go in Wiktionary, as there's not much encyclopedic content to be said about the slang use. --Delirium 16:55, Oct 23, 2004 (UTC)

I agree it should be listed elsewhere. What about in the list of sexual slangs? PS: Just because one doesn't know or understand something, it doesn't mean it is not true or inacurate. ;-)

"smurfing" used in gamer terms, is the act of a high skilled player playing inside of a lower rank bracket.

Compare with Sock Puppet[edit]

Smurf appears to be used in the same context as the alternate version of sock puppet - multiple accounts created by a single person, particularly on internet forums - but is not listed anywhere. What would the correct title for such an article be? -- Alphax (talk) 07:45, Oct 31, 2004 (UTC)
