I am looking for a place called halsingland (as i remember my grandmother calling it)in sweden. Would this be the place or is there another place up north with a name similar to this? My e-mail is fiffenelli@hotmail.com . The last name is Sjodin.The old name was Erikson but was changed in the army to Sjodin because there were to many Olaf Erikson's. Please would someone respond. Undue or necessary ?[edit]
I'm just raising the question. Having both Helsingborg and Helsingborg Municipality here (at Wikipedia in English) seems a bit unnecessary and perhaps even undue. Why not merge these articles ? I can't find similar separation in city & town related articles in any other country but Sweden. This is just an example - and perhaps ought all similar articles be merged. Normally that is, when there is no particular reason for a separation of a city/town and its municipality. This article may even be WP:undue ? (Given Helsingborg also exists).
