O widths...[edit]

I was trying to find what width 'O' gauge is. This article puts it at 35mm, but the 'O' scale page puts it at 32mm. Is this a mistake, or is there an inconsistency in the industry? At least a note stating the reason for the difference may be useful.

The discrepancy is due to the Maerklin practice of measuring between the centers of rails that were about 3 millimeters or 1/8 inch wide, rather than between the inside faces of the railheads.

Incidentally, there seems to be something wrong with the gauge 1 numbers, since 45 millimeters is actually the gauge between the inside faces.
