Jesus Phone

A tag has been placed on Jesus Phone, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

C-MODEM

Way back you wrote the original version of the C-MODEM article. I'm doing some cleanup on the BBS protocols and began to take a more careful look at this program. Reading the dox, it does not appear this is a protocol at all, but simply a plug-in ZMODEM driver for BBS systems intended to outperform DSZ. Am I wrong? If not, I think this should be turned into a redir or removed entirely. Maury Markowitz (talk) 12:28, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

The C-MODEM docs say "It just includes a whole new file transfer protocol" and don't mention ZMODEM. I haven't read the C-MODEM code to see if it mentions ZMODEM, though. Runtime (talk) 16:23, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
