Silly Passage[edit]

Hey, that was my silly passage! Seriously, your edit is good, hope it sticks; though before the silly passage was an even sillier one that said that the 1958 convention made the 1951-56 blockade illegal. Stood for a couple of years that way.  :-) Nice to see someone who knows a bit about the calendar and international law back editting, though I'll miss all the silly passages that might suffer. --John Z 08:11, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Another Norwegian enters the fray?[edit]

Hi there, are you by any chance a Norwegian? Based on my taking a peek at your list of contributions, I took the chance of including you in our category. Feel free to revert that action if I'm wrong, of course. Anyway: welcome! --Wernher 23:53, 8 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit summary[edit]

I strongly object to your definition of my edits, which dealt with an accuracy problem, as "vandalism". Your statement is in breach with the WP community principles. gidonb 18:10, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Would you consider weighing in?[edit]

Jayjg has been belligerantly restoring a statement on the Golan Heights having Israel's only ski resort at the Israeli-occupied territories article. You are probably aware of the fuss he made about how references to anything as trivial as water resources don't belong in that article. My relationship with Jay is such that there is no point in my trying to discuss anything with him, so would you leave him a message at his talk page requesting that he refrain from putting information he apparently considers "crap" back into the article? If he continues to misbehave, your action would complete a step in my formal complaint against him. Marsden 14:57, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Would you mind taking a look at Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship#Ramallite? I'm concerned with the POV expressed by some of the oppose votes. Jayjg (talk) 19:42, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for your support on my RfA, which finally passed! I really appreciate it. Ramallite (talk) 03:56, 9 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a minute, please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject International law. We're getting things off the ground, hoping to eventually build a community of contributors interested in international law. Yeu Ninje 04:31, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Adding my welcome to the project as well, and in particular if you want to weigh in on what should be contained in the infobox on treaties...--Leifern 20:08, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your views on the current phrasing of the intro to this article, re occupation, would be welcome. One user on Talk:Golan Heights asserts that they are legally part of Israel. Palmiro | Talk 13:44, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your link doesnot work[edit]

I clicked on the link you provided and it does not link to Morris article.

Please remove the misleading link from your comment Zeq 17:34, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your link still does not work. Show me one person who cliam that Karsh quote of Morris from the times is not true. If you and zero were correct there should have been a libel suit against Karsh - do you see any ? Zeq 18:50, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Occupation of Gaza[edit]

Hi Cybbe,

have you any more up-to-date information as to international views on whether the Gaza Strip is still under occupation? I hgave tried looking on the internet but have not had much success.

I am wondering about this largely because I rewrote the introduction to Palestinian territories, but if, for example, the UN was now taking the view that Gaza was no longer occupied, this would need to be changed. Palmiro | Talk 01:02, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I saw that the terminology was unchanged and I found a Human Rights Watch report specifically stating that the territory was still occupied, but nothing better. That is helpful. Palmiro | Talk 15:59, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

resolution 242[edit]

Hello.

You are perfectly right. I reacted to the words "in exchange" and replaced them by "and in parallel". I wanted to underline that "withdrawal" and "termination of all claims" are on the same level.

Your current version is much better. User:ChrisC 23:30, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I counted four reverts, but I guess its possible I was wrong, in any case I don't understand the need for the angry comment on my talk page, its not like I reported you or anything.- Moshe Constantine Hassan Al-Silverburg | Talk-TINC 03:59, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Warring 2006 Arab-Isreal Conflict[edit]

Please note that I have put a comment on the talk page. I'm not taking anyone side, but am sick of seeing the edit war. The page has already been semi-protected. If this edit war continues I will ask an admin for full protection of the page. You guys need to discuss stuff on the talk page and start following the rules of Wikipedia.
