Can someone write a piece about this guy's name? I mean it is not nothing for a Jew to be named "son of Ali". Why is that? Themalau 09:24, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
In Hebrew his name is ben Eli but he wrote in Arabic and ben Eli would have been arabised as ben Ali, which is how he is generally known. Belfire (talk) 13:36, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
