List of ethnic slurs of Jews was nominated for deletion. The discussion was closed on 16 October 2011 with a consensus to merge. Its contents were merged into List of ethnic slurs and epithets by ethnicity. The original page is now a redirect to this page. Terrone[edit]

I was reading the article and noticed that it states that the etymology of terrone (slur used against southern italians) is uncertain. Since the article is protected I wanted to add some details about this word: it comes from italian “terra” which means dirt, it is used by northern italians to underline even more how poor are the southerners. Under slurs for Russians should be added katsap (кацап).
