It is highly doubtful she will ever return as one of Breathed's characters. This appears to be pure speculation. Has Berke Breathed ever stated that he'd never resurrect her, or is this simply the opinion of the article's author?

It looks like an observation based on a pattern in Berke's cartooning. Most of Berke's minor characters from the mid-80s were dropped with little or no explanation, and haven't been heard from since, so I guess the author assumed it was a given. That is why I am currently writing a Minor characters in Bloom County article (which I'll eventually merge this one into), so as to catalog all of those forgotten characters, and to avoid little offhand notations like that.--DXI 02:03, 2 Mar 2005 (UTC)
