Mahboob Khan[edit]

Likely vanity. Can find no evidence of any such real football player, certainly none so distinguished.

This is what the article said in its original incarnation: Mahboob Khan or Mahboob is a football player. He was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. He first played with Juventus being there for 2 years (1998-2000). At present he plays for the Real Madrid of Spanish league La liga. His first appearence was on 2001 with oppenent Arsenal defeating it by 3 goals. He has scored 214 goals for Real Madrid from 333 games at an economy of 0.15. --Dryazan 22:07, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Appears real, but not well documented. 21 google hits for '"Mahboob Khan" football'. Note that "football" is referring to what Americans call "soccer". -- Scott 21:49, Dec 5, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. If you look at those google results closer, you will find that Mahboob Khan is a Pakistani football (soccer) player who plays (played?) for Habib Bank Limited. Other than the name, not a word of that article was true. I deleted all the BS out of the article; I guess it can stay as is, but its value is highly doubtful. --Dryazan 03:58, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
