Is this article really necessary? What information is there here which can not be found in Hamas, Palestine, Islamism, and dozens of other articles related to the Israeli-Arab conflict? The article is currently linked only from Hamas. Perhaps it should be merged with that article? -- uriber 19:18, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I second that. Or should we watch out for Christian state in Palestine, Secular state in Palestine? --Humus sapiens|Talk 20:45, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)

The whoel debate about Jordan seems a bit petty (the whole "Jordan = Palestine" state argument) Jordan stopped being part of Palestine in 1922, I dount the Hamas (or many others) think of it as part of "Palestine" . The whole thing might be considered POV. That said (not sure why...)I think it should be merged with something else, or tunred into a general page about Hamas slogans or something. Since Jordan is not an Islamist theocracy, it is a moot point whether or not it is part of "Palestine". GCarty 11:00, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
