Welcome!

Hello, Eyeon, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  --Victor 01:28, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

IP address[edit]

It would also be helpful if you could decide whether to post as User:Eyeon or User:70.177.90.39 to avoid the appearance of sockpuppetry. SlimVirgin (talk) 10:16, Jun 11, 2005 (UTC)

No shit for me[edit]

Sorry, no, I find the whole feces topic totally repulsive. I do see that my squeamishness is not a good reason to remove the Images of Feces article, or to deny the fact that it has serious informative value. But somebody else will have to contribute to the content! ----Isaac R 16:20, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • I voted for it, but i deleted your message from my talk page. Makes my talk page look crappy.--EatAlbertaBeef 20:59, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Don't you mean crappish? ---Isaac R 21:27, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)

You have violated the three-revert rule (3RR) and have been blocked temporarily from editing. If you feel this block is unfair, please e-mail me using the link on my user page, and I'll get straight back to you. SlimVirgin (talk) 05:02, Jun 12, 2005 (UTC)

I emailed you, noting that in fact I had NOT reverted more than three times, and I got no response. Eyeon 17:17, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
You received a detailed response from me by e-mail, listing the times of the violation, and the diffs were then placed at WP:AN/3RR for you and others to inspect. SlimVirgin (talk) 23:53, Jun 13, 2005 (UTC)
You failed to notice that the photo had changed. Eyeon 11:40, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Votes[edit]

I suggest that you look through the various Wikipedia Rules and Guidelines. Almost all "votes" on the Wikipedia are not strict "official" votes (except for things like the election of Arbitrators). Instead, they are surveys to determine the consensus opinion of the Wikipedia editors. Because of that, most surveys should not be a yes/no First past the post decision, but should allow for the expression of a variety of opinions, and even allow for the expression of Preferential voting on the various options. It is obvious that the consensus for the feces article is to have some photos of animal feces, but too many people are against the idea of the photo of the human turd. Your pushing the issue, and especially putting the photo back into the article without a sign of consensus was counterproductive because it only made the opposition more determined. Anal Itching Copyright Violation[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Anal itching, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, take a look at our Five Pillars. Happy editing! --Amoore 21:08, Jun 12, 2005 (UTC)

Fair use[edit]

Image:341.jpg For an image to be fair use, you should justify why it's fair use and also state where the image came from. Theresa Knott (ask the rotten) 22:21, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)

3RR[edit]

You have violated 3RR for the third time at Feces, by reverting six times in 10 hours using the accounts User:Eyeon and User:Fecologist. If you feel this block is in error, feel free to e-mail me using the link on my user page. SlimVirgin (talk) 23:53, Jun 13, 2005 (UTC)

Repulsive[edit]

The penis removal image is absolutely repulsive. Thank you and have a nice day.

Penectomy image[edit]

Hi. I've been searching the internet via Google for that image, but I can't find it. May I please have the web address? I'm planning on writing an article on penectomies, and I'd like to view the website where that image came from. Thank you. Newbster 04:10, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Nonsense[edit]

File:Beammeup.gif Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. JarlaxleArtemis 00:01, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

You want User talk: niglet not talk: niglet though why you would expect a permenantly blocked sockpuppet to read a message is beyond me. Theresa Knott (ask the rotten) 00:08, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Gallery[edit]

While useful a gallery of images usually gets deleted on wikipedia because articles need text. I suggest you copy your images to the WikiCommons. Nothing will change on the syntax of including the images here, and they will have a nice home until an agreement can be reached on their inclusion on Wikipedia. - Mgm|(talk) 08:04, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

  • My bad, I assumed you made it, because you submitted the images themselves. Now, I know Nohat made it. Sorry. It's still a good idea to put them in the commons, though. - Mgm|(talk) 15:19, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

steatopygia image[edit]

What's up with the steatopygia reverts? The current image seems to be pretty clearly photoshopped from the one that comes up on Google. What possible motivation is there to make the condition pointier? And then to post a p-shopped image to the article? Are you caricaturing steatopygous people?

Hi, your changes on the article mentioned above are considered to be vandalism. Repeated vandalism on Wikipedia will result in a ban from further editing. --Cool Cat My Talk 13:07, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your behavior[edit]

Your behavior is unacceptable. Continued disruption will result in a permanent ban. Eyeon 13:22, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Amusing. --Cool Cat My Talk 13:29, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked indefinitely[edit]

I've blocked this account indefinitely for the trolling over the image at Feces and Talk:Feces, uploading other images designed to shock on several pages using different user accounts and IP addresses, the revert warring over an image on Diarrhea, and the creation of Black Women with Large Rumps. User has made no useful edits and causes trouble wherever s/he goes. SlimVirgin (talk) 10:35, August 15, 2005 (UTC)

Image:Anus.jpg has been listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file you uploaded, Image:Anus.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

Image Tagging for Image:Cattlemanure.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cattlemanure.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to indicate why we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies under Wikipedia's fair use guidelines, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you want the image to be deleted, tag it as {{db-unksource}}.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
