older comments (on structure)[edit]

This is an extremely fragmented page! Most of the ones down the list a ways (and even some at the top) are very small and could use to be consolidated into one list, something like 1940s in architecture or 15th century in architecture. If no one objects to this, I am going to start changing it. If the articles get too big, they can be split up. For now, though, I would turn them into re-directs. • Decades seem a fair idea for the older years. I'd suggest leaving the ones from 1900-on as individual years as they are generally longer and more likely to grow. Warofdreams 12:10, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I've given the article quite a severe pruning. Each year should have only a very brief summary, otherwise it becomes unreadable. Other buildings and events can be listed in the articles which it links to. If you disagree with my choice for a year, please feel free to change it, but bear in mind that it already has quite a U.S. bias. Warofdreams talk 03:17, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Do you think the timeline is ready for inclusion in the parent Category:Architecture ? The whole setup looks great: articles appear in Years in architecture, and the "best of" shows up on this list. Did you want to use some kind of a timeline banner on the right side? --Dogears 01:47, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

links and overview[edit]

I suggest linking only the buildings or whatever the main subject of an entry is, to maintain a good overview. DirkvdM 08:09, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On this page, or in article by year? Warofdreams talk 14:41, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
