Inco[edit]

  • An abbreviation for a university's compsci department. Not much there there. It's barely a stub, not to mention hardly notable enough for a separate entry. Katefan0 02:13, Dec 9, 2004 (UTC)
  • del. Mikkalai 03:14, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Nonsense. Geogre 04:30, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Redirect to Inco Limited. Samaritan 20:21, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Redirect Spinboy 21:02, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Samaritan and Spinboy: They are nowhere near the same thing; a redirect is completely inappropriate. Inco Limited references a company in Canada; Inco is described as a compsci department at a university in Brazil. Katefan0 23:19, Dec 9, 2004 (UTC)
I know, but Inco Limited is often simply called Inco, even making the chorus of the unofficial national party song of Canada. That being said, I could live with a delete and redirect... Samaritan 00:59, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Katefan, what the article describes is irrelevant to whether the title should be turned into a redirect to Inco Limited. And the answer to whether it should is, absolutely. I've more than once had to check back myself as to whether the mining company's article was at Inco, INCO or Inco Limited. Bearcat 06:40, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
