This page should be a redirect to The New Yorker. All but one page that links here should be going to The New Yorker. I fixed a few, but there will be more in the future. The only thing that links here that shouldn't be to the magazine is the article New York City which delivers us to the wonderful definition that a New Yorker is someone from New York. I'm checking on the "what links here" and further fixing ones that link to here rather than THE New Yorker. Does Wikipedia have a consensus on the status of orphaned pages? --zandperl 00:31, 13 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Why did you revert this? All the information was moved to the New York article and nwe the same information is in two places. It is against wikipedia practice to have articles like this. Canadian redirects to Canada, Belgian redirects to Belgium etc. Why not turn it back into the redirect it was before? - SimonP 00:57, Feb 13, 2004 (UTC)

When this page was redirected to The New Yorker, I didn't see anything saying the info in this page was added to New York, New York, and thought that the information had just been eliminated. Thank you for pointing out to me that it has been put into the other page. I'd like to change this page (New Yorker) into a disambig, with links to The New Yorker and New York, New York, rather than only a redirect to the magazine, and change all that links here to the appriate one of the two. How does that sound to you? --zandperl 17:38, 14 Feb 2004 (UTC)
