I heard about the move- distressing. The Douglas attic and lounge cultures were always part of the appeal. (By which I refer not to the mold cultures that could usually be found in the corners) I wonder if they'll ever move back- would be nice.

Set theory

A cursory glance at language of set theory reveals two things:

1. The article needs major help.
2. I don't know for sure where to start either.

I guess it should talk about the basic terminology: definition of a set, definitions of the various basic symbols like "element of" and "is a subset of". Then maybe it could talk about how to express ideas in set theoretic terms that are usually expressed differently. For example, ordered pairs and functions can both be expressed purely in terms of sets. Isomorphic 02:31, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)

The rapidly rising current creates a rapidly rising magnetic field along the axis of the coil, which in turn induces an electric field going in circles inside the coil. The induced electric field causes an electron current in the can which experiences a vxB force in the magnetic field of the coil, causing the can to break into two pieces which are blown to the opposite sides of the lecture hall. The plasma "theta pinch" phenomenon occurs when the capacitor is discharged. This effect causes radiation pressure on the can which breaks it in two and blasts apart the two halves. Compare shark infested waters.

Redirect you created at "The Fabulous Lorraine"

Hi, you created a redirect from The Fabulous Lorraine to Lorraine Garland, but there is currently no article at Lorraine Garland. (It may have been deleted since the redirect was created.) Wikipedia policy is to get rid of redirects to non-existent pages, and someone listed The Fabulous Lorraine on WP:RfD If you want the redirect to stay, you will need to create something at Lorraine Garland (even a stub will do), or else the redirect will go away. If you do create the target, you don't have to do anything on WP:RfD (we'll eventually notice the target is there), but if you do, just delete the entry for The Fabulous Lorraine. Thanks! Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
