Merlene Beal[edit]

I can see how people might be interested in an article about a promising young basketball player, but I don't think we need a separate article about his mum . In my opinion, the newspaper clipping in the article doesn't establish a good reason for including her in an encyclopedia. I think the article should be deleted. Maybe it would also be a good idea if someone who is familiar with US sport leagues has a look at the Clay Beal article, to see if it is reasonable to include it.   • I blocked the obsessive author and I'm speedy deleting this—it's all nonsense. Read the text on the magazine page scan. The woman depicted has an attorney son and a daughter, no "NBA prospect". It's also a random image from some Jamaican newspaper site. Postdlf 09:08, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
