Major Revamp

I'm going to doing a major rewrite and revamp of this article. I've got about two dozen citations and a bunch of research I've done. I'll keep the article tagged {{cleaup}} during the process. So what is a "standalone file-sharing network network"? A network of networks that operates independently of the Internet?

Name?

This article refers to both "EarthStation 5" and "Earth Station 5." Other sources also talk about "Earthstation 5." Not even ES5's own press release is consistent in the spacing and capitalization, so I doubt there's One Right Way To Do This, but it'd be nice if the article could pick one and use it as consistently as possible.

Indeed, the article title uses EarthStation, and opening sentence uses Earth Station. An informal survey of Google News archives also suggests common usage in media is a toss-up between the two: 51 results for "earthstation 5", 45 for "earth station 5", 4 for "earthstation v", and 5 for "earth station v". The company name, according to a German-language article in Der Spiegel was "Earthstation V Ltd.", founded 2001-12-10 in Vanuatu. Is there a citation that gives a definitive name for the client software itself? (The article says it was called Earth Station 5, but without specific citation). "Earthstation V Ltd" is still listed as the leasee of earthstationv.com.

The domain name, though not currently mentioned in the article, also varied, in the sense that three different domains for client download seemed to be mirrors of one another. es5.com shows a 2001-12-09 original registration date, earthstation5.com 26-feb-2002, and earthstationv.com 10-mar-2002. Archive.org shows all three looking like mirrors of one another (earliest 2003 reference is for es5.com, but the others are also from early 2003).

I propose either changing the name to "EarthStation 5" in the opening paragraph, or else changing the article title to "Earth Station 5." Keep the "(ES5)" in parentheses, and subsequently refer to it as ES5 throughout the article. The article uses ES5 after the first sentence already, except in three occurrences. Also include a sentence, perhaps as a second sentence, "Called ES5 for short, the network was variously referred to as EarthStation 5, Earth Station 5, EarthStation V, and Earth Station V." -Agyle 03:13, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Image:Es5-screenshot.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use.
