noun, a character from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. noun, Internet handle commonly used by User:Stephen Fuqua.

Welcome, Stephen!

Perhaps you should choose a different handle? Generally, we try not to use handles that are names of potential encyclopedia articles (as yours is...). An example is Koyaanisqatsi--the former handle of the very prolific, nice Wikipedian who is now called Koyaanis Qatsi.

BTW, Faramir should probably redirect to [[Middle Earth/Faramir]]. (I personally hate subpages, but in this case it seems like not a half-bad idea--Middle Earth is self-contained universe.) --Larry Sanger (not the bearer of a famous name!)

I'm changing all slashed "Middle Earth" references (slowly but surely) to main pages or (when disambiguation is needed) parenthesized "Middle-earth" references. Ed Poor 09:42 Jul 23, 2002 (PDT)
